Video is the quickest way to increase your brand's awareness and engage your audience. I've been fortunate to have opportunities to film and direct videos on my own, shoot with a team and work with footage already shot. Putting a message together with graphics, interviews and background music is an exciting and rewarding way to tell a story. Here are a few marketing videos I’ve helped develop.
UCD School of Education // Why Teach
To increase enrollment and interest in their program, my clients at the UC Davis School of Education asked me to create a compelling video from interviews and b-roll they filmed. I worked with them to identify key themes and messages from each interview, then I edited the footage and b-roll together using Adobe Premiere.
UCD School of Education // Give Day
For the Every Aggie Counts 2018 Give Day, the UC Davis School of Education wanted a fun, inspiring video that illustrates why it’s critically important to support education. A staff member filmed several students, staff and alumni, then handed the footage to me to tell their story. I selected the best footage, edited it for color and sound and paired it with upbeat music to show how giving to the school makes a huge difference in the lives of students at all levels.
UCD School of Education // Donor Story
My clients at the UC Davis School of Education needed a way to honor a generous gift from alumna Lydia Baskin who taught for 35 years. Lydia and her husband established the Lydia and Ronald Baskin Family Scholarship to support students at UCD majoring in education. My client filmed the b-roll and interviews with both Lydia and scholarship recipient Yesenia Martinez, then handed me the files to pull the best footage and tell this donor's story.
MSU Alumni Association // New Member
What happens when someone joins the Montana State University Alumni Association? Champ the Bobcat puts a new member packet in the mail, of course! A link to this video was included in an auto-generated email immediately after new members joined. I shot this video on a Canon 7D and edited it in Adobe Premiere Pro.
