How to Link to Your Google Reviews

Need an easy way to share your Google reviews link with customers? Gone are the days when you could create a short name and send a link like this: https://g.page/shortnamehere/review.

If you have a short name, you can still use that link format. But if you don’t have a short name, you’re out of luck: Google stopped allowing new short names in June 2021.

But fear not! There’s a new way to link to your review form from your Google Business Profile.

Share your Google reviews link on desktop:

Step 1 - Open your Google Business Profile

In Google, search for your business name—and make sure you're logged in to Google with the account that has access to that business’ profile. Otherwise, it’s just a standard Google search.

If you’re logged in to the correct account (and your account has access to the business profile), you’ll see a panel like the one below.

Step 2 - Click “Ask for reviews”

Step 3 - Copy the review link

Step 4 - Share your reviews link with customers

Send your link to customers so they can easily leave a Google review. More positive reviews increase your trustworthiness with existing customers, potential customers, and Google itself.
